About

Justine Brancato, MAT, BCBA

Support Coordinator Supervisor

I co-founded NJ Support Services in 2018 to remedy the existing gaps in adult services and supports.

Committed to bridging the gap between youth and adult services

As a service provider to school-aged youth for over 15 years, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges individuals and their families face when services end at age 21. Without the structure and coordination provided through school systems, families are often left to navigate adult services on their own, identifying providers, understanding eligibility, and coordinating ongoing support.

This process can be overwhelming and time-consuming, especially without the right team in place. I want our agency to be the bridge that connects individuals to services that truly fit their needs, goals, and stage of life.

Putting your needs first, always

I strive to help individuals become more empowered by their ability to make choices that support their needs and nurture their dreams. I want individuals to pursue the dreams they never thought possible by helping them identify the appropriate support pathways to get there.

I work closely with our Support Coordinator on each assignment to ensure that our agency leaves no service unturned when helping curate an individual’s path to happiness and independence.

An educational background rich in specialized services

As an undergraduate at The College of New Jersey, I double-majored in psychology and elementary education, eventually earning my Master’s of Art in Teaching (MAT) Special Education at TCNJ.

Upon graduating with my Master’s, I immediately began my BCBA coursework and became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in 2016. I also co-own a private ABA company and coordinate and supervise programs for children in their home and community settings.

I work with individuals of all ages and across a wide range of disabilities in home, clinic, school, and community settings. I regularly serve as an active planning team member, participating in IEP meetings, behavior plan meetings, eligibility and determination meetings, ISP meetings, and transition planning discussions.

A key part of my role is advocating for individuals by helping ensure their supports are aligned, clearly coordinated, and centered around what matters most to them as their needs evolve.

When I’m not working…

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and hiking, exploring local markets, and time at home with friends, family, and my dog and two cats.

Dr. Nicole Rasavage, BCBA-D

Support Coordinator Supervisor

I am a committed professional and have a strong passion for working with individuals with disabilities. In 2018, I co-founded NJ Support Services with the intention of establishing an accessible and exceptional Support Coordination Agency.

Committed to ongoing educational advancement

As an undergraduate at The College of New Jersey, I double-majored in Psychology and Elementary Education and later earned a Master’s degree in Special Education.

My growing expertise and dedication to the field of  Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) inspired me to pursue and obtain certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  I further advanced my knowledge by completing a behavior analytic dissertation on training paraprofessionals, ultimately earning a Doctorate in Special Education and becoming a BCBA-D.

Most recently, I completed Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant coursework through Rutgers University, which enabled me to earn my LDT-C certification.

Deeply rooted in the ID/IDD Community

I am dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. In 2010, I established a company that provides private, individualized ABA therapy to youth learners. I taught for 14 years in the public school system in self-contained ABA, E/BD, and co-teaching classrooms.

My interest in adult services was piqued while working as a BCBA in a public high school and attending IEP meetings of young adults.

My experience as a classroom teacher and a behavior analyst helped me recognize that professional support is lacking around adult services. I strive to fill the void and provide high-quality support that connects individuals to necessary, appropriate programs and services.

I am unwavering in my efforts to ensure that NJSS remains in compliance with DDD and Medicaid standards which is essential in maintaining our role as an approved SCA.

When I am not working…

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children. I constantly pursue personal growth and enjoy reading in all areas. I also enjoy home decorating and watching HGTV for inspiration.
