About

Justine Brancato, MAT, BCBA

Support Coordinator Supervisor

I co-founded NJ Support Services in 2018 to remedy the existing gaps in adult services and supports.

Committed to bridging the gap between youth and adult services

As a service provider to school-aged youth for over 12 years, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges that face individuals when they turn 21. No longer receiving services and support through their schools, they and their families are solely responsible for identifying and coordinating the professional support they need through their adult years.

It can be an overwhelming, time-consuming process, especially if they don’t have the right team by their side. I want our agency to be the bridge that connects these individuals to the services best fit for them.

Putting your needs first, always

I strive to help individuals become more empowered by their ability to make choices that support their needs and nurture their dreams. I want individuals to pursue the dreams they never thought possible by helping them identify the appropriate support pathways to get there.

I work closely with our Support Coordinator on each assignment to ensure that our agency leaves no service unturned when helping curate an individual’s path to happiness and independence.

An educational background rich in specialized services

As an undergraduate at The College of New Jersey, I double-majored in psychology and elementary education, eventually earning my Master’s of Art in Teaching (MAT) Special Education at TCNJ.

Upon graduating with my Master’s, I immediately began my BCBA coursework and became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in 2016. I also co-own a private ABA company and coordinate and supervise programs for children in their home and community settings.

With over ten years of professional experience working with individuals of all ages and with all disabilities in the home, clinic, school, and community settings, I have also served as an active planning member in IEP meetings, behavior plan meetings, determination meetings, ISP meetings, transition meetings, and more for the individuals I serve.

One of my main responsibilities continues to be collaborating with individuals, their families, Case Managers, Social Workers, SLPs, OTs, PTs, Legal Guardians, Residential and Day Program Managers, and Executive Directors.

When I’m not working…

I love to spend time exploring new markets and restaurants with my husband and spending time with our two cats at home. I am also a house plant collector and garden enthusiast, so there is almost always something plant related on my to-do list!

Dr. Nicole Rasavage, BCBA-D

Support Coordinator Supervisor

I am a committed professional and have a strong passion for working with individuals with disabilities. In 2018, I co-founded NJ Support Services with the intention of establishing an accessible and exceptional Support Coordination Agency.

Committed to ongoing educational advancement

As an undergraduate at The College of New Jersey, I double-majored in psychology and elementary education and later received my Master’s in Special Education from Rider University.

My growing interest and confidence in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis led me to pursue BCBA coursework through Rutgers University. I then earned my Ed.D. after completing Nova Southeastern University’s doctoral program in special education and completing a behavior analytic dissertation on training paraprofessionals.

Most recently, I completed Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant coursework through Rutgers University, which enabled me to earn my LDT-C certification.

Deeply rooted in the ID/IDD Community

I am dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. In 2010, I established a company that provides private, individualized ABA therapy to youth learners. I taught for 14 years in the public school system in self-contained ABA, E/BD, and co-teaching classrooms.

My interest in adult services was piqued while working as a BCBA in a public high school and attending IEP meetings of young adults.

My experience as a classroom teacher and a behavior analyst helped me recognize that professional support is lacking around adult services. I strive to fill the void and provide high-quality support that connects individuals to necessary, appropriate programs and services.

I am unwavering in my efforts to ensure that NJSS remains in compliance with DDD and Medicaid standards which is essential in maintaining our role as an approved SCA.

When I am not working…

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children. I constantly pursue personal growth and enjoy reading in all areas. I also enjoy home decorating and watching HGTV for inspiration.
